I feel like two, three years ago, VC was like the intellectuals game in crypto. But now I feel like the smart person's game, or at least that the fun game is the liquid markets. You actually need to understand what you're trading as well. Whereas for VCs, it strikes me as a lot of asset gathering. We're just trying to raise as big funds as possible and just like spray everywhere.

GoldenTree, one of the largest independent asset managers with $47 billion AUM recently announced their official foray into the crypto space with a new subsidiary GoldenChain and a $5.2 million investment in Sushi

While traditional funds entering the crypto space is becoming more common, GoldenTree’s entrance is huge news because of their caliber and active investment strategy
