There was a time where he was kind of the it boy and you know, but then same thing happened for me. He kind of faded. In England, they would ask him on his opinion on so many things. I'm not sure there was an equivalent writer in the US who was asked about his opinion. It's almost like what's happening now is really celebrities who are politically active are starting to fill that cultural gap.
