The Negative Effects of Assurances on the Competition Process

FTC losing a case does not mean that they like lost points in the house cup of the FTC versus corporations. I do think where I could see this being a net negative is that each time you have a judge go on the record and say here's how I decided it does become not necessarily controlling precedent for like parallel cases but it does sort of add up to the sense of okay well the legal framework everyone is operating in is this. It becomes easier and easier for judges to hold to these these tired legal frameworks now.
