Dreams and the Transcendental Function

It's not uncommon for people who are in a state of agony to have dreams where there is a beautiful and peaceful figure that they interact with. As that image began to develop, some sense of relief, some sense that there was in this person a life that was not spoiled by this misfortune. I mean, i think that that's onething that happens in moral injuries. It cuts us off, sometimes, from the self. And that can speak to us again through dreams.
