Should We Break C Plus Plus A, B I?

There was a big discussion at the last in person committee meeting before the pendemic started in prague. A large part of the framing of the argument was about performance, that we should be willing to break the standard library. And i think many of the points that i just raised, i have been, i discussed over years. Some people's minds were just framed around the question of performance and did not grasp the full scope of what we sacrifice in the name of stability.
