"I grew up in like, total neighborhoods. And then finally I realized I live next door to a crack house," he says. "The adults talked about crack like it was a plague. Like it was a disease that it hits certain areas." In the past, indigenous people used coca leaves as cocaine tinctures; now they're being made into heroin and other drugs.
