Banks have lower loan to me, and just because the economy is generally slowing. Number two, you have higher expenses because it's difficult to make that interest margin when your cost of financing is going up. I fear for smaller community banks only because I feel what the Fed has done inadvertently or otherwise has made it a lot more difficult for them to survive independently.
