I did start at the bottom. I started in the tape library. Then came downstairs and eavesdropped on sessions, just literally watching. It'd be being a tape operator then learning from the engineers. That's such an early era too. You got a couple four tracks, machines,. you're bouncing them, some neves, whatever you got in there. Then it gets eight track comes along. And to be in that studio with what they had done with the previous record, Sarge of Peppers and everything, and what Beach Boys were doing with Pet Sounds. So that's really people trying to outdo each other. But the number one thing about all that was the incredible tones
