Is It a Well Designed Task?
Sometimes we tip the balance too far in favor of less make it fun. We don't think enough about what is it we want you to think about while they're doing it. The things that are really helpful when children are learning or anybody's learning are really difficult to see. How can you tell if something has just been thrown together with little thought? There's going to be a lot more answers for this one.
