I've Always Been Fascinated by the Idea of Status
i think there's an optinal amount of friction in any large system which isn't zero. And economists, of course, underestimate the power of business to solve problems at a local level. The idea that expert, educated opinion must always prevail is something the entire education system derives its vastly overrated value from. A democracy never does anything you don't like. There's probably something a bit wrong with it,. i agree. I'm gong to go.
