How to Work Out Odd Meters
The Terminator theme is a strange one in part because of that melody. It just fits over the group so weirdly and as I mentioned that is for a reason. There's actually this cool article from 2014 in Slate by Seth Stevenson where he spoke with Fiedel about the theme. He'd sequenced a loop using his synthesizers. That's why you get an odd meter tune that's still pretty easy to count once you get your head around it.
