I think under those circumstances and based on what happened with the runoff two years ago it's more likely that Herschel Walker will lose. Therefore the libertarians not only would have blown the Senate for their state but they would have tipped the balance of power to the Democrats. I always tell people only vote your conscience if there's no consequence to doing it. If you live in California it's a waste of time to go vote Republican because the Republicans are going to lose, says Julian Zelizer.
