The Sign of God's Promise

Baptism is not just a profession of my faith, but it feeds my faith. It grows my faith. Therefore, men must use sacraments so as to join faith with them. The promise itself doesn't negate the work of god. So if i receive the sacrament, say, baptism, god has worked and is working in the sacrament. We have to understand how these two things fit together.faith accepts the benefits of the sacrament for oneself and our own benefit, but faith does not create the validity of the promise or the sacrament.
