Clerical Abuse in the Catholic Church

It is, i think, one of the most awful periods in in the history of a catholic church te extent to which m clerical abuse was was hidden. First because a feeling that the defending the reputation of the institution was more important than looking after little children. And secondly, and with clericalism,  the priests could do no wrong, and the laity were just there to take instructions. I knew this was going to happen. We'd start down one avenue, drawing upon areas of interest and knowledge and v an experience.
