With SARS-1, you weren't very infectious until you had symptoms. What's coming out about SARS-CoV-2 is that it can actually enter the body, start reproducing and become infectious before symptoms or even without any symptoms at all. And so they're less infectious because they're not necessarily projecting with coughs and sneezes, but they're still very, very infectious. The whole misnomer with the masks was that, oh, you don't need to wear it because you're not sick, because I can protect you.
