Sibernetic - A Brief History
Sibernetic emerges from the same mot ation that led to the first digital computers. Iniac was originally planned as a tool to produce improved firing tables. The artillery system he invisioned worked by monitoring targets with radar. That radar data was then fed into an anlogu machine which solved for upcoming locations using the weiner hop method. Those solutions were used automatically steer the big gun. This would be particularly useful for surface to air defense, since it could compensate for velocity of enemy aircraft.
