The Puma Was Not Moving
Maldonato looked out on the night sky from the edge of the cave. Above countless stars glittered and danced. It really was beautiful. Maybe she would be able to sleep after all. As sleep began to take hold, maldonoto turned and noticed two more stars in the back of the cave, green ones. They were beautiful too. Then she froze. Wait her eyes snapped open, and as the pair of stars watched her, she realized they weren't stars at all. They were the eyes of a full grown puma. And it let lose a low, menacing growl.
