How Has Technology Hurt the Pursuit of Learning?
Technology can be a wonderful tool. It makes a terrible master. Any time technology ends up in the driver's seat in determining your behavior, there are a lot of risks and a lot of problems. We live in a digital world where many businesses are dependent on distracting you as much as possible. So if you can establish ways of blocking or blocking out distraction rich technology for even short periods of time, you have a huge competitive advantage.
This episode is by request. You have asked me many times for an episode on education, accelerated learning, and my mentors. It will all be covered in the following conversation with Charles Best (@charlesbest), the founder and CEO of DonorsChoose.org, a nonprofit website that enables anyone to help a classroom in need.
