There have been accusations that he performed abortions in Nauvoo, which I don't know if we have enough evidence to really confirm. The church wants to say there's no evidence that any of Joseph Smith's polyandrous wives had sex with them. And every other polygamous prophet after Joseph Mormon was having sex with all his wives? It literally makes no sense at all. So why would we want to just bracket off the non-isolated marriages and say that they weren't sexual? For what reason do we want to be associated with it by our sacred first profit?"
