There's an assumption that because life was harsher in pre history, and people am had more dealings with the physicality of death than illness. We think may be excarnation, which isexpose burial, a little bit like tobet and sky burial sin ar. The dead themselves are very elusive, and they are often called invisible. They're subject to some kind of mortary treatment. And this is one of the premisesof the project, using archaeology to open up discussions. So i think where death, dying and bereavement is involved, i think we can allow ourselves to make that emotional leap"
