The cholesterol in an egg is the same molecule as meat, but there's so much more of it. High cholesterol levels are clearly bad for your heart and they are clearly driven by saturated fat. So if somebody is rather fond of a weekend breakfast, steak and eggs with cheddar cheese on there, probably not the healthiest idea in the world. About half the cholesterol in that egg ends up in your bloodstream.
