What Happened to the Black Student Union?
Michael McElroy, head of the musical theater department at University of Michigan, held a class on slavery. He used audio and video to evoke what it meant to be an enslaved person in Africa. Students were upset that their racial identity was being trampled on; one said she had been traumatized by this. Lee: In my opinion, ask a question.
