Dosage Levels - Do You Need to Go Deeper?

In psychiatric prescribing or psychopharmacology, there's this approach that is used or recommended with most meds of starting low and increasing as needed to attain the desired therapeutic response. We don't want to go deeper just for deeper sake, in my opinion, because a lot of times deeper will eventually just mean, oh, I don't remember much from Academy experience. So we have different experiences on the menu at different dose levels to be used for perhaps different purposes. But if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
