Twitter has verification that is no longer really verification. But one of the beautiful things about blue skies that has verification through domain stuff and so does Mastodon. Like, I feel like that is a level of verification that we're already used to with the web. And yes, you can be spoofed and so on and so forth. It's way harder to spoof than it is to get a blue check and change your name to IRS on Twitter.
