How Do You Structure Your Fees for Commercial Work?

I've been doing this for about 25 years in the States, so I have a lot of time cards. We come up with a total amount of labor that we think is going to take to get the project through and we multiply that by a fee. Then we compare that with a percentage of construction cost. And we try to find a balance between the two.
