The Dad Lets Cat Go
I feel very lucky to have been a te nager when this movie came out. It's almost like i can receive some of that respect vicariously. I was kind of watching the dad plot line especially, this time in being like, like, is this satisfying? Does this work dramatically? And i really think it does. To me, this movie also works because the dad in the end, like, lets cat go. She wants to go to sarah laurence. He doesn't want her to go. And he finally is like, you must live your life. Go far away if you must."
