Creating the Intention of the Room

Most rooms with televisions are so intentionally focused on the television that is almost difficult not to use it, right? It's like you would have to be counter to the focus of the room in order to use something else. Like when I wasn't using my camera, it's like I had it in a bag but it was always underneath a desk, right, or off to the side of some table somewhere. You have to give it proper space and yeah, so that it's accessible but also so that the room lends itself to you being drawn towards that object.
