The Heart of Religion Is Not a Creed
"The heart of religion is not what you believe. Creeds are important, but they're not the heart of religion," he says. "What's the heart of worship? Was saying a prayer? Nope. The heart of worship is sacrifice and that one thing is called an altar." He explains why the temple was so massively important to the jews as the only place for them to worship.
