The Challenges of Being the Only User Researcher

If you're the only user researcher and you don't have anybody to turn to for guidance, feedback or support, this can really hurt you. My biggest recommendations are finding either a support group, there are plenty of meetups around. So if you are struggling, what I would recommend doing first is looking around for any sort of mentorship - not just in terms of books but also at conferences. Other ways to overcome it are reading books and then trying to implement strategies from thosebooks.
