Theistic Arguments - What Standards of Success Are Appropriate?
Souh: What standards of success do you think are appropriate for theistic arguments? Must they rationally compel belief? If so, why? i like this metaphor of building a bridge of reason. The purpose is to get somebody to where they want to be, presumably truth. I don't think that in the case of theism, or any other worll view,. In fact, i would say for any proposition p whether in math or science, or in any category, iDon't think that it's impossible for somebody to rationally disbelieve that proposition even if its provably true.
