The Eroding Structure of Languages

When a language is endangered, people no longer find themselves able to use that language for everything. And certain facilities kind of disappear because people have got used to doing it in the other language. For example, many foreign languages now contain English words. But there's no hint of decline in relation to English, which is actually going from strength to strength.
