The Problem of Selecting Which Images Need to Be Annotated and Train

Deep learning solves some of the problems of having variability in the images we capture for sure. You have to take a step back before you send any images to be annotated and make a decision on whether this image is going to add new information to your training or if it's going to saturate essentially or over train on things that you already know,.
