The Importance of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine
When he started the PhD program at Stanford in computer science, I knew that I wanted to be working on the intersection of artificial intelligence and human intelligence. He came across a problem that was being worked on by someone in Professor Andrew Ng's lab looking at how we might be able to interpret electrocardiograms. Since then, he has had a lot of work that was very closely collaborating with clinicians.
