The Nuclear Revolution
The nuclear revolution argues that because of three things that aren't inherent to nuclear weapon, they're unique destructive power. The ability to deliver them quickly in half an hour has changed not just warfare, but international politics. If you evaluate the nuclear revolution, it's not perfect. It's batting one for three, which gets you into the hall of fame. And if a war starts, I'm pessimistic about our ability to control escalation.
