The Nine to Five Grind
Jay Wyner was like, as a director, that's a very powerful technique. That's a technique that's been used since the beginning of time. Just like Alex DeLarge in the clockwork orange, right? Just flashing pictures. The same thing that happens in parallax view, right? They know what they're doing. It's all there. And so they warp people's realities this way and people are living in other timelines at the moment. But it's almost like that. It's a form of control, the nine to five grind and you're dead.
