If you like the self employed life style, you need extreme risk aversion. You're not trying to maximise profits. You want to avoid having this life style taken away from you. I think basically, nowadays, i give a lot of weight to the odds of something working out. It's rather than just foolishly, a deluding mysel that, you know, i'm good at this, how it should work.
