The reason I transitioned out of doing that type of work was sort of at the end of the 90s, a lot of people were making different types of card games and stuff. So I decided to refocus my portfolio because of the change. And so how I got into children's books was probably very different from the way a lot of other people do it. You know, there's flags people hang on their houses. I started painting flags for this company that was in Cincinnati,. It was in Milford, Ohio. And they commissioned me to paint a bunch of them.
