Python is probably bifurcated in the same way. I think I remember seeing bits and pieces like Python one even on some of the I see is mandrake Linux, which I don't even think is a thing anymore. So it went from from grade to what I liked as a teenager green or whatever. Outside of paid work, I'm a contributor to Arrees and PyMC, which are two Bayesian libraries written in Python.
