Wagner's Choice to Hold Bachmud

Bachmud is where they were going to hold the line. They felt they needed those more experienced units on that part of the front to hold. And then as a result, you had these newer units being constituted who we then we saw Ukraine rely on at the earliest phase of this offensive That's ongoing. I think it's clear to anybody that is watching this war, right, that's following it, that all the Russian problems there began the day they seized Bachmud. The land domain is strongly favors the defense.
