The Influenza Virus Is Smarter Than Coronaviruses

Scientists in America have honed in on certain parts of the influenza virus that are the same in many different forms of flu. Because these regions can't change, because if they did, it would affect the ability of the virus to infect and grow. The vaccine could provide longer term protection against a whole range of different flu viruses. This week they published the results of their first clinical trial of their approach in humans.
