The Last Agri-Fair in New England

I love this book. It's very stately. It's kind of a Dickensian novel. We get so many pages on Johnny, student teacher, humble 23 year old New England,. first year high school teacher Johnny Smith’s date with his girlfriend Sarah. He is taking her to what is the absolutely the Fryberg fair. The Fryberg fair is the fair I grew up going to. So based on the geography of this book, this is Castle Rock, right? Which is around- This is outside Castle Rock. This is Cleaves Mills is where Johnny lives. And it's like only Johnny Smith can somehow transcend the idiocy of his gender and notice something. Yeah.
