Severion's Family Is Important

The idea that Severion's family is important flies in direct contrast with the autark takes who is next in line to be autark. The whole trial is about whether or not this autark would be allowed to reproduce to create a lineage. So it's interesting that so much focus is put onto the family tree in the discussion and analysis and problem solving of this. But in the end, I think it's more of a, there's a fun puzzle to be solved here than this is something that tells us a lot more about the world that we're reading.
