Is the Medical System Challenged to Care for People?
There's a growing percentage of people living with some form of disability. Bjork: The medical model that sees you as a bundle of physiological processes doesn't necessarily understand what it feels like to live with these situations. "We are helping millions of people survive things that otherwise would have ended their lives, but society has not yet found a place for these folks like myself to belong," he says.
