Is There a Unity of Conscious Experience?

There are a lot of different ways in which you know the unity of conscious experience can get troubled. There's neurological evidence suggesting that there's sort of no place in the brain where different aspects of experience get unified. I think determining what that is is really one of the most interesting questions of the self and especially over time because for the person or self to continue you need continuity of consciousness over time.
