Is Decarbonisation Superseding Energy Security?
Do you think we should actually be reframing our thoughts and considering hydrogen in terms of energy security? I feel incredibly lucky that somehow the universe has given us a unseasonably warm winter so that has also helped with the war against what Russia is doing in Ukraine. We have seen the huge impact this has had on Germany and the incredible efforts that European Union has taken to make sure that there is gas storage. Even though there was a lot of energy price volatility gas prices are now to the level that they were before Russia invaded Ukraine. So we should not shy away from all the efforts that are needed to actually decarbonise our various systems.
