The Creative Sissy
In gentrification, many aspects of that century environment are shifted. In washington, d c, there's many historically black neighborhoods and often local businesses would play gogo music. And gentrifir communities suddenly were like, no, we don’t like this, this noise. That sensory environment can be a battle ground, if you will, of our gentrification. The term 'creative sissy' was popularized by the economic geographer richard florida in the late 19 nineties,. early two thousands. He said cities big and small all over the world kind of adopted this as a blueprint for gentrification.
