The Effects of Gravity on Electrons
Gravity is like the weakest force in the universe. And so the other forces overwhelm it. You try to do experiments with electrons, then their charge is much more powerful than their mass. So it's basically impossible to measure the gravitational force on an electron. But that just means that the effect of gravity is tiny compared to the effect of electromagnetism. To do that experiment, you'd need to isolate those particles from any sort of effect. Today we'll talk about an experiment that's going to try to do that.
