Cancel Culture Is a One-Sided Argument

We don't ever have to deny that there's such a thing as hateful speech. Even if you have the most of a repugnant character who is advocating the most vile ideas about society and attempting to proselytize even something as vicious as neo-Nazis we can say it's a one-sided argument. We end up buying into the illusion that there are more hateful people in the world than there actually are because even the people who send these hateful things probably wouldn't behave like that in real life.
