The Priest Metaphor and the Minority Mission

The priest is an excellent metaphor to explore when you think about a minority mission. Priests are a minority by definition, but they're called out of the people or out of the world to represent the people for God. To me, that's a hopeful and also identity-giving metaphor as a Christian. If you look in the Old Testament, what do priests do when they represent the people before God? They worship.
