The Two Issues With the Digital Markets Act

The Digital Markets Act, which is the EU Act, treats large platform technology companies like common carriers. The European approach has tended to focus more on structure of competition rather than the effect of competition. So we have a couple of U.S. officials who had agencies or had the practice within an agency in the case of the Justice Department. We just prefer the European approach to this than what they can get through Congress.
